Healthy Conscious Living
Our post today is prompted by the good work of Pure North S’Energy Foundation (PNSF). Founded by Allan Markin, the foundation aims to promote wellness by focusing on education and prevention.
On May 12, 2012, PNSF is presenting “Healthy Conscious Living” – a symposium at the BMO center in Calgary. Several medical doctors are presenting their views at this symposium, among them a Naturopath and a Public Health Professor from the University of Alberta.
At Olympia, we realize only under specific circumstances are exercise diet supplements an allowable medical expense.
Do you think supplements, vitamins, exercise programs, and diet counseling should be given the same tax deductible status as prescription drugs, chiropractic and physiotherapy?

Yes, all those things should be allowable expenses. It would encourage people to prevent ,rather than treat disease.

Absolutely!. We have seen better treatment with alternative medicine than traditional routes in our family..
